In this series we will discover some simple aspects to date numerology, touching sometimes on the more complex issues as points of interest. These tips are not required to perform the numerology and they are in italics and are preceded by the phrase Interesting Point.
There are many methods available for working out which days are going to be beneficial and which are going to be horrendous. There are just as many various interpretations for each numeric result. Each system has its merits and some have obvious flaws, but one thing is common to many – the tendency to predict the future as a predetermined attribute.
Interesting Point. This is possibly the most important aspect of Numerology to keep in mind: no matter how accurate the interpretation, it is still just an interpretation – it is neither fact nor truth.
The best prediction for a particular day that Numerology can give is, at best, a vague outline of the basic attitudes prevalent for the particular person it is cast for. Prediction of Days is a tricky feature to work with for one very simple reason: a day has a short duration, numerologically speaking, and the over-all effect is probably fleeting at best.
Because each person is an individual and is affected by their own perceptions of society and culture, each numerological day casts a distinctly personal influence on their particular psyche.
There are three areas, broadly speaking, that can be considered for daily prediction – material, social, and personal. Material delineates the influences in the physical world we would probably allow to affect our lives. Social delineates the influences in our emotional sphere we might allow to shape our deeds. Personal delineates the influences in the mental territory we would perhaps involve ourselves.
Interesting Point. Most numerology systems separate Date and Name numerology, especially for calculations. There seems to be an unwritten rule implying they do not mix – a segregation of styles perhaps. I do not like unwritten rules, as they can never be relied upon to conclusively prove or disprove a theory. I tend to examine my theories and then write the demonstrated rules, anywhere they are required.
The first step in working out your Day Numbers is to add your day of birth from your date of birth to the day of the date you are examining. Thus if you were born on the 23rd of a month and you are looking at the 15th of a month add them together. 23 +15 = 38. Now fadically add the resulting digits until one number remains. 38 → 3+8 =11 → 1+1 =2. This is the Day number, write this number down.
The second step is to write down your common name, which is the name you call yourself. A person with the given name of Elizabeth might call herself Betty, then she would use that name instead. Note that the letter Y can be both a consonant and a vowel depending on the name. In Betty it is a vowel, in Guy, it is a consonant.
Third step:
With day numerology we are looking at a set of trends that flow almost exactly like a biorhythm chart.
Meanings: The higher the number the better the day will be for that particular trend. A low number does not mean the day will be negative; just that you will have to work harder than usual to achieve in that field.
I re-stress that numerology is not a useful tool for day-to-day prediction, and I provide this system as a demonstration only.
Next issue we find out about our Month numbers and what we can learn about our numerological environment. We will discover in which months we operate better than others.
